v2 pro series 7 kit

The V2 Series 7 vaporizer is the latest device from V2. V2 continues to strive to stay on top of the latest e-cig technology, and their Series 7 is leading the charge! This new 3-in-1 device gives you some awesome flexibility with different vaping options. A massive upgrade from the smaller Series 3 “pen” style device, including features like automatic temperature to warm up the device (variable voltage for manual use is available). And their new magnetic – “click-in” connections for the cartridges and the USB charging options help this one stand out.

The smaller Series 3 vaporizer was good if you weren’t a heavy-user due to the smaller tanks. This one obviously looks like it should be able to fill that void and then some! I was excited to finally get my hands on this one and give it a spin. This device kit comes with everything needed to get started. The vaporizer itself, liquid and loose-leaf cartridges, USB charger cord, wall charger adapter, and pick and brush for cleaning (primarily for the wax I am assuming) –  e-juice sold separately.

Overall this device is another great representative for V2 and what they bring to the table. The size of the device might not be for everyone, but the flexibility of the vaporizer is undeniable. A little bigger than most devices in its respective category. The series 7 comes in at exactly what it should be, not too heavy, not too light with a feeling of a solid build when it’s in your hand. With the loose-leaf cart holding way more than its predecessor (Series 3), this device is easy to classify as an “upgrade” for those looking for something bigger and better.

In The Box

  • V2 series 3 e-go e cigarette1 Series 7 Battery
  • 1 2.5ml e-liquid Tank
  • 1 1300mm capacity Loose Leaf Cartridge
  • 1 Magnetic USB Charging Cable
  • 1 Wall Adapter
  • 1 each cleaning brush and pick

  • E-Cig Type: Advanced 3-in-1 PV
  • Battery Capacity: 1800Mah
  • Tank Type: magnetic snap-on
  • Charge Method: Magnetic USB/Wall Adapter

Out of the box, the device quickly stands out compared to other vaporizers in its class. Not the most attractive device ( I went with blue) but at first glance it just looks like a powerhouse.

Final Word

The design of the unit, starting with the e-juice/loose-leaf cartridges are a break from the norm as they are all magnetic – these cartridges simply click-in and snap together, so there is no external threading.  For now, this is great but time will tell if these will hold up. It appears V2 is going to grow this line of vaporizers with this design, so they seem pretty confident in the quality lasting over the long haul.

The 2.5ml tank is deceiving as it doesn’t appear that it would hold much e-juice, but it does. As mentioned the charging port is a newer clever design as its completely magnetic. I was a skeptic when the Series 3 came out first with this design, but it works well, and this design followed suit. With no USB ports to mess with, and as long as the magnets hold up, this is genius! Nothing to break is a huge plus.

Once loaded up and charged this one was easy to use. The ability to manually adjust the voltage (three options of 3.7/4.2/4.7) with the simple one button in the middle of the device (exactly where it should be) was as simple as it gets. I never found myself having to re-adjust the settings due to accidentally bumping it. Thanks to having to do a rapid double-click to activate the change, it’s almost impossible to accidentally change the settings. Vaping was smooth as expected and even on the lowest setting the vapor production was top notch.  The battery life was phenomenal  – especially on the low setting – I was able to get almost three days between charges.

V2 Pro Series 7 reviewVaping on the lowest setting was hard to accept as being the “best” setting for my run-through but it was the optimal setting for my daily use. The difference between low and medium was more drastic than other devices of this category. The medium setting was almost too much for me in the way of a throat hit. I just didn’t need it that high to get truly what I needed out of it, and I consider myself a medium-to-heavy, daily vaper. With that said, I believe the Series 7 will comfortably handle most heavy users needs.

The flavor of choice was the V2 “Cola” which tastes like a typical soda. So to spruce it up a bit I added a few drops of the V2 “Vanilla” to the tank and nailed the exact taste I was searching for – an awesome vanilla coke-ish flavor. Highly recommend.  As far as menthol goes – the “Peppermint” was the front-runner out of their menthol/mint flavor options. The peppermint didn’t dry my throat out like many other menthol flavors typically do.

The loose-leaf option was easy to get started – pop on the cartridge, turn it on, and I didn’t have to wait long for the device to automatically find that optimal temperature. I have only tried a few loose-leaf devices, but this was one of the easier ones to get up and running. Smooth vapor output overall compared to others I have tried in the past.

With the ability to easily swap cartridges, refilling the tanks, and the magnetic style connections, and, of course, the massive battery – it was easy to fall in love with this one. Coming in around $129 makes one wince a little. But when you break down all the features this one brings to the table, along with the ability to replace two, possibly three devices, the overall cost is easy to overlook. Another V2 Winner!

V2 backs up their products to the fullest!  Their warranty is rock-solid and adds a huge amount of comfort when making that next – or first – V2 purchase! https://www.v2.com/help/warranty

  • This was a great vape until it quit on us completely after 5 months..

Well, not exactly great — because before it quit the little plastic clips on the cartridge broke, and we were told that the cartridges were designed to be used for a month or two (at $30 each, that would have been nice to know going in).

Then it started to intermittently overheat — combusting the herb and giving a REALLY unpleasant draw. Then it started to occasionally not work, even when plugged in or fully charged — and then it just stopped working…. after five months of use.

The company’s response was more or less — it has a 90 day warranty, send us another $150 and we can send you a new pen… umm… nope. We decided to go with a different company — one that has a replaceable battery and a much better design concerning where to put the herb — AND a 10 year warranty.
