Volcano is another great ecig vendor who has been around for years. Their lineup of devices is growing quickly, but the Inferno vape pen has been their staple from the beginning.

Having been on the e-cig market since 2010, the Inferno vape pen is one of the best product lines in a young, growing and ever changing industry. And Volcano has kept the Inferno in their lineup because it is such a solid and popular vape pen. But don’t worry, Volcano continually updates the design and components, keeping it up to date with the latest in vaping technology.
Volcano E-cigs is one of the oldest and most respected vendors throughout the e-cig world, largely due to their longevity in such a competitive and ever changing marketplace. But I like to think it is because they make a top quality vaporizer. One thing is for sure; they have firmly established themselves at the top from years of solid word-of-mouth recommendation and quality vape gear.
Their well known LavaTube is among the leading vaporizer Mods; now they have something for those looking for a pen-style e-cig that’s a bit smaller – The Inferno.

Sporting a flashy metallic battery and a tank large enough to keep most vaping for an entire day… plus between refills. The Inferno is compatible and will work with almost any 510 or 306 threaded cartomizers, tanks or atomizers you can think of. And the included “Tube Sock” accessory will help cover any gaps and keep it looking great with most vape pen attachments as well.

This starter kit comes with everything needed to get started, even a bottle of free vape juice and a gift box. The first thing to jump out at me was the finish – I went with a blue model and its extremely sharp and easy on the eyes. A typical easy setup consisting of their “Tube Tank BCT” and the battery. The battery is a 900mAh, and it comes with a second battery that’s slightly smaller at 650mAh. The atomizer/coil has eight intake holes that house a single silica coil. These coils are easy to replace when it goes out over time and are relatively inexpensive.
The overall design is futuristic and very streamlined. The 510 threading helps with swapping to other tanks as it’s the most popular design with multiple manufacturers. The fit of the two pieces is nice and tight, helping the overall feel of a quality device once all screwed together. A small but practical feature is the bottom cap – this cap covers the charging port, when it’s not charging, of course, preventing dirt and lint from getting into the port. A handy feature, if you are a pocket person.
The vapor output is huge for a basic vape pen e-cigarette, so huge that it feels and looks like it’s coming from a much larger device. Since there’s no power adjustments needed, the consistency of each pull was a noticeable pleasure. As far as charging the device, the Inferno allows for pass-through, which means you can charge the device and use it simultaneously – very handy.
Volcano e-liquids are all made in the USA and typically come in a 70/30 pg-vg ratio. I like this ratio a little more than a 50/50 as the flavor seems to be more robust when vaping this mix. When choosing flavors I went with their new “strawberry shortcake” and it was more on the frosting side than strawberry that was very tasty and unexpected. For a solid tobacco flavor, I went with their “tobacco pure” and it delivered a full flavor cig taste. But had a little bit of a coffee aftertaste that was a nice touch fo me as I am a self-described coffee, addict!
The Inferno has been a Volcano staple for a few years now and it still rivals any newer vape in this category. The Inferno is just a great all-around device in this category of ego/basic vape pen. This review was probably the easiest ones I’ve done thanks to the simplicity and lack of having to adjust anything, which easily makes this a great choice for the first time user. With the utmost confidence, I believe this kit will increase your odds of replacing your favorite cig.
With the easy setup, even the most novice user will feel comfortable getting this up and running quickly, and having the staying power to keep the most stubborn smoker coming back to it.
