Halo Triton 2 Vape pen

Halo Cigs has been around for years, and the one thing that stands out is that their catalog has offered the same models with a few small changes here and there. Yet they are still at the top of the e-cig market.

I have personally been using Halo products since I first started with e-cigs almost five years ago, so I am not surprised of their resiliency to stay on top; it’s simply due to their quality. The Triton 2 is their new flagship device, and there is little doubt that this vape pen will be going anywhere for a long time! The Triton 2 keeps the simplicity as the first version with just the right amount of upgrades to keep in any light vapers arsenal for years to come.

The Triton 2 vape pen kit comes with everything you need to get started x2!  Two batteries and two tanks come with this kit. Perfect for those who aren’t always around power and/or for someone who has a second person to benefit from one kit. Coming in 8 different color options, you’re sure to find a design that fits your style.

For those looking to step it up from pre-filled cartomizer cig-a-likes, the Halo Triton 2 is a great choice. This kit comes with 3 0.75ohm coils making this a true sub-ohm vaping pen, and with it being a simple one-button operation, very easy to use. This kit is simple, straight forward and one of the easiest to use and fill with some of Halo’s top of the line e-juice.

Final Word

Halo Triton 2 Vape penThe Triton 2 is not for those looking for a ton of power option or the ability to tweak with. This kit is for quite the opposite and makes it one of our favorites because of it. Fill the tank, charge up the battery, screw the tank and start vaping – that’s it!

The biggest thing that jumped out to me was the smoothness of each pull. Most vape pens deliver power but it comes out of the battery at a higher rate than I would like and results in a harsh throat hit. This vape does the opposite. Even when the battery was getting low the quality of the vape was just as smooth as it was fully charged.

The tank could be a little bigger, but this vape pen was built for the light-to-medium daily vaper. Heavy all-day vapers will find themselves filling this up regularly and maybe a little disappointed. The battery lasted all day and charged within an hour coming from being completely dead – this was a nice surprise as most devices in this category take much longer.

Halo is also one of the top dogs in the e-liquid realm in my opinion – strictly made in the USA – and of USP grade ingredients. I always have a few bottles of Halo e-juice handy, especially their “midnight apple”. Their catalog has 20 flavors, and most are very good. The names of the flavors are tricky as to what they might taste like so start with a sampler pack – at least the first time – so you don’t get stuck with one or two that don’t appeal to you. Menthol fans will enjoy this lineup as there is a wide variety to choose from – “Mystic” is the perfect blend of coolness on the throat without the harshness over heavy use.

I am biased when it comes to Halo, in general, but especially their Triton series. This kit performed darn near flawlessly and my tank never gave me any leakage problems. This one hits all the marks I look for in an easy to use vape pen.

As I said before, beginners switching to an vape pen will love the Triton 2’s easy setup and overall, and veteran vapers will respect the solid build quality, large vapor production and reliability. Make sure to give The Halo Triton 2 a good look when making the next step in your e-cig journey.

  • Almost all said above in the review are true except of a MAJOR design flaw – pen will not work unless you tweak the coil’s tightness with the base and/or the base with the battery. In doing so, you will unavoidably touch some e-liquid on the coil.
Almost daily have been having this issue (no draw / smoke comes out). Then one has to be careful and make sure the battery is not low. After a week’s intermittent use(due to all the hassle), got fed up and returned it. Who wants an expensive, quality-made Italian Lamborghini if the damn thing does not start the engine every time.
So again, yes, you can feel the quality of this pen and its accessories (when I first got it I thought it was a $1,000 iPhone!) but it has a fundamental issue of function!
