Council of Vapor cut its vaping teeth with well-crafted mech mod builds and precision designed tanks a few years back and they continue this impressive lineup with their Mini Volt. This extremely small box mod is in a class all its own when it comes to the amount a vapor a mod this size produces.

Ease Of Use
The Mini Volt 40W MOD from Council of Vapor is a powerful device, packed in an unassuming, and surprisingly small little package. The Mini Volt, paired with the Mini Vengeance Tank Atomizer, is a great set up for anyone looking for a little MOD that can give you more power per square inch than most other devices on the market.
The Mini Volt 40W mod from Council of Vapor is a powerful mini vape mod, packed in an unassuming, and surprisingly small little package. The Mini Volt, paired with the Mini Vengeance Tank Atomizer, is a great set up for anyone looking for a little mod that can give you more power per square inch than most other devices on the market.
The Mini Volt has a variable wattage range from 5 watts up to 40 watts adjustable by 0.1 increments. The batter supports sub-ohm vaping, with a minimum resistance level of 0.2 ohms. The device comes with a USB charging cable that attaches to the bottom of the device to charge the 18450 battery. The Mini Volt has a 1200 mAh battery capacity. Some sites show that the Mini Volt has a 1300 mAh battery. However, the Council of Vapor website verifies that it is in fact, a 1200 mAh battery. The Mini Volt also has three ramp modes: soft, standard and power.
The size of this mod however, is what has everyone talking. The Mini Volt mod is about the size of a Zippo lighter, in fact, it is shorter than most bottles of e-liquid. Even with the tank attached this device will easily fit entirely into most pockets and hide completely in your hand. This makes the Mini Volt an excellent travel companion, that has a stealth-like ability perfect for nights out on the town or family events where you don’t necessarily want to be hauling around a big box mod.
Even with a small size, Council of Vapor has not skimped on style with their Mini Volt. With a rubberized paint job and a carbon fiber grip the Mini Volt doesn’t just look good, it feels good too. Small and lightweight, the Mini Volt still possessed that well-built feel, with nice clean buttons and an easy to operate interface. The LED screen is bright and still easy to read, despite how small the overall device is. The Mini Volt has a standard 510 spring-loaded connection and comes in black, white, red or gunmetal color varieties.
The Mini Volt has an excellent partner in the Mini Vengeance tank that comes with the mod. It has a two mL capacity in a top fill tank design. The tank is made of high-quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass and fits perfectly with the Mini Volt both in size and style. The tank comes pre-installed with a 0.8-ohm vertical coil and an extra coil is also included in the box. The Mini Vengeance Tank has fully adjustable airflow options with four air vents and an adjustable ring. The AFC drip tip is air cooled, and the tank features spit back protection.
The Mini Volt Kit comes with practically everything you need to vape including the extra 0.8 coil, the USB charging cable, and replacement glass for your tank. Council of Vapor has created a sleek and incredibly covert little device with the Mini Volt– making it a great addition to your vaping rotation.

Honestly, I think you’ll find that if you read more reviews you see the same response: if you like the look, you’ll love the production. The Mini Volt may not be exactly what you are in the market for, but if you are looking for a great mod with a lot of power, but something that is still easily portable I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also, for vapers who are new to the mini vape mod scene, this is a great starter device. It has easy controls with variable wattage settings making it a great introduction to vaping devices that have variable settings.
They do pack as much style as they can into the Mini Volt too. The carbon fiber grip feels comfortable in the hand, and the rubberized paint keeps the device safe and sharp looking. The buttons are clean and lend to the sleek overall style.
The tank also looks awesome, so the total package is a real winner. Even though the tank only has a 2 mL capacity, which is pretty small for a tank that you would generally use with a mod, when you consider the overall size I wouldn’t want it any bigger. Also, since I am planning on using this more like a to go device, it’s perfect for when I’m out and about, and not vaping heavily anyway. I really love top fill tanks too just because they are so easy to fill, which I consider a necessity on lower capacity tanks.
The battery life is not spectacular on this unit, but that is to be expected with only a 1200 mAh battery. That being said, it still has a decent amount of battery life for the size and the power, and again certainly enough to get you through a day out and about.
The vapor from the Mini Volt is also really satisfying from this unit and, again, was surprising when you consider the size. It seems like I keep saying, “It’s pretty good for its size,” but don’t misinterpret. It is surprising that such a small device can deliver this power, yes– but it delivers a great vaping experience, even when compared with other Mini mods that is near twice the size of the Mini Volt. Did I mention it was small?
Overall, I feel like Council of Vapor developed a solid and impressive little piece of vaping equipment with the Mini Volt. It is honestly fun to vape, it fits virtually anywhere easily, and it delivers a great vaping experience. Perfect for our fellow stealth vapers out there. Great box mod, really cool design, and simply a solid overall starter kit.
